WISDOM! AND WHAT ABOUT IT?...
Beloved in Christ,
Have you pondered for once, why wisdom is the key to success in life? Here is it; But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere, James 3:17 (NIV).
And Jesus Christ is the power and wisdom of God, therefore, embrace wisdom and be saved from sin and destruction because that is the only assurance for our preservation and the principal thing too.

ENEMIES OF EFFECTIVE PRAYER LIFE...
Beloved in Christ,
I hope you still remember that a prayerless Christian, is a powerless Christian. A powerless Christian cannot overcome satan and its devils... but by the grace of God we shall overcome them, Amen. The door to greatness in life has been opened to me and you. It is wide open in front of us, it behoves on us to knock satan off the door, and then go in to possess our possessions. Do you understand?
As we know, satan will always come up with different schemes to stop us. Satan cannot just fold its hands and allow good things reach God's people. It is always moving to and fro, looking for who to devour. It doesn't like us being at peace with our God, hence it tries to fickle our prayer life down to a zero point, using the following tactics:
Sleep: A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to rest; So shall your poverty come like a prowler, And your need like an armed man, Proverbs 24:33-34; someone might be wondering... does it mean one will not sleep? No, one will sleep but Do not love sleep, lest you come to poverty; open your eyes, and you will be satisfied with bread, Proverbs 20:13.
Heart: never allow the adversaries sow bad seeds in your heart, such as, bitterness, greed, jealousy, and so on. These things can weigh you down and prevent you from reaching your God through prayer. You can only do good to yourself and others when your heart is merry. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of, Luke 6:45 (NIV).
Foot: let God guide and direct your steps at all times. The Book of Ecclesiastes tells us that there is time for everything under the earth. Don't be found in a pub, when you should be found in the Church. If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, From doing your pleasure on My holy day, And call the Sabbath a delight, The holy day of the Lord honorable, And shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, Nor finding your own pleasure, Nor speaking your own words, Then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; Isaiah 58:13-14a.
Mouth: avoid speaking stench words that may hurt and maim others. Your mouth should be used to bless and not to curse. Use your mouth to pray for others/yourself and not gossip, slander or blackmail them. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers, Ephesians 4:29.
Eyes: pray God to open your eyes to see wonderful things and not lustful things. To see the poor in your locality and pray for their needs to be met by God... and to even see how to help meet their needs as much as God puts into your hand. Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law, Psalms 119:18.
Food: just learn to weigh your intake balance properly, in such a manner that will permit you to be lively, up and doing. Do everything in moderation. So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God, 1 Corinthians 10:31.
All believers have common adversaries which are satan and its devils. Do not let their tactics work in your life. Let us brace up and pray always!
Remain blessed.

Ifeoma.

HOW TO GAIN CHEAP FORGIVENESS...
Beloved in Christ,
Have you been wondering within you, thinking how all these sins you have committed against God and humanity in the past, could be forgiven you? And just like that? Yes, it is possible. Our Lord and Creator is a merciful God. Just read and follow strictly the following tips:
Be open to God: do not be ashamed to confess your sins before the Almighty God. He knows that you have committed such a sin. But He will always be patient with us to come before Him acknowledging and confessing our sins to Him. Just as King David, always did whenever, he realised he had sinned against God. He opened up to Nathan (2 Samuel 12:13), acknowledged his sins and thereafter, literally poured out his contrite and broken spirit unto God. A contrite and broken spirit God cannot despise, David knew it hence Psalms 51. He further said that, if I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear, Psalms 66:18. David was always quite on point each time he sinned against God. No wonder, God called him a man after His own heart.
Forgive yourself and others: permit me to quote Katherine Ponder, "Remember, you don't forgive others for their sake but you forgive them for your sake." It is not a coerced forgiveness but the kind that comes right from the heart. The kind that makes your heart feel light and becomes joyous. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you, Ephesians 4:32.
Say never again: make a vow to yourself and God, never to commit sin again. It is not just saying it, commit your whole being into it using the word of God. That is the Sword for overcoming temptations and sin. After all, what shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! Romans 6:1-2a.
Remain blessed.

INCREASE YOUR FAITH IN GOD
It is far better to believe in our Lord God and His Prophets, than in any other thing, 2 Chronicles 20:20. From right, left and centre, that is just the way to go. The Bible is so clear about it. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV).
We can therefore, increase our faith in God thus:
Hearing the word; first and foremost, listen and hear the word. That is the first step to take. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17.
Reading the word; reading a thing gives one an understanding of that thing, especially when read from the heart. In the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem, Daniel 9:2. The word of God is the Holy Bible. There are also many christian books written by anointed servants of God, you can read in addition to the Bible.
Meditating on the word; this entails thinking in and in, into the word of God, up to that point that faith in God will be produced in your entire spirit being. This Book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success, Joshua 1:8.
Acting the word; after you have accomplished the first three factors, take a break to putting them into action. It is possible. If some anointed men of God in our midst, in this present time, can do signs and wonders, we too can. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says, Mark 11:23.
So then, beloved, get soaked and saturated in the word of our Father in heaven, eat it, drink it, breathe it, sleep it, wake it... and by so doing, your faith in God will surely increase.
Remain blessed,
Your beloved sister,
Ifeoma.

DROP THEM, YOU OUGHT TO KNOW BETTER...
Beloved in Christ,
How has your attitude been in your society? Well! I don't know how you have behaved in your society, to your friends and family members or how they had responded to your attitude either. But from the word of God, I do know you can still make amends and not be shaken.
Do you walk cruelly and work unrighteous? Do you tell lies? Do you gossip? Do you hurt your neighbour? Do you not keep your word or agreements reached? Do you lend your money with excessive interest (usury)? Do you accept brides against the innocent?
Drop them if, you are certain, you would like to dwell in God's sacred tent, as well as live on His holy mountain (God's presence) and never be shaken. Read what the Bible tells us; Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from the heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others; who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and does not change their mind; who lends money to the poor without interest; who does not accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken. Psalm 15:1-5 (NIV)

TRUE RICHES REVEALED...
Anyone thinking that money isn't good but evil, is deceiving herself. Do you know that with true believers having financial (money) breakthrough, they can achieve a whole lot of things in the kingdom of God? Let's see how;
Peace: any true believer in God having riches can never allow the poor and needy in her society to suffer. Her desire will always be to cater for the well-being of others both in praying for them (spiritual needs) and their physical needs like providing the basic needs of life to them.
There is a popular saying that a hungry man is an angry man... right? The main reason being given by these violent people in our societies now, bothers on non-consideration of their well-being. Though, most of them can be so lazy and jealous, but for the love of Christ, these ought to be over-looked. Let God be our reason for any good we do.
When we believers all over the word, make the aforementioned, a kingdom call to duty in every location of the world we find ourselves, then, we must have succeeded in bringing peace into the world. At least, violence/terrorism will be reduced to its barest minimum.
Remember, when people are treated justly, peace will reign. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 5:1. Also, this will build strong confidence among them thereby making the world a safe place for us all, In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge. Proverbs 14:26.
Remain blessed.

PRAYING KINGDOM PRAYERS...
Beloved in Christ,
Please, let us strive not to be selfish in making our prayers unto our God. Remember, to pray for the following in our midst, since it is good and acceptable in the sight of God, of course, you know when God is happy with your prayers, He will expressly perform all you ask of Him:
Pray for the poor and be generous to them too; this includes the troubled, victims, homeless, grieved, fatherless, oppressed, etc. He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker, But he who honors Him has mercy on the needy. Proverbs 14:31
Pray for your pastors and Church members; Paul speaking; Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, Ephesians 6:19 (NIV)
Pray for your friends; And the Lord restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. Job 42:10
Pray for your enemies; But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44.
Pray for your nation: Pray for the the peace of Jerusalem: "May they proper who love you. Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces." Psalms 122:6-7

AMONG OTHER CONDITIONS FOR ANSWERED PRAYER
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. John 15:7 (NKJV)
Dear Beloved,
Our God is so sincere to us all, who call upon His name. If He didn't mean to answer our prayers unto Him, I do not think, He would bother letting us know via His word, the conditions upon which He could answer us whenever, we call upon Him.
Jesus Christ, teaching His disciples how to pray said, In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Matthew 6:9-13.
From the above Scripture, we read that we must come to Him as a son or daughter, that is, 'Our Father in heaven', because, Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, Ephesians 2:19.
Hallow His name: always enter into His gate praising, thanking and adoring Him. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. Psalms 100:4.
Pray for His Kingdom, that is, praying for the unsaved souls, your pastors, oppressed, grieved, homeless, the needy, the poor in your midst... the list can go on and on. For I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.' Matthew 25:42-43.
Pray for forgiveness of sins. We had treated this in our previous message. However, do not forget to forgive others their trespasses before praying to our Father in heaven.
When you had finished abibing in all of the above mentioned conditions, then you will call upon Him, asking for your specific needs, He will answer you. Read our anchor text, John 15:7 above.
Remain blessed.

CAN PRAYER AND FASTING REALLY DO IT? (PART B)
Prayer is a guiding light to our reaching God's presence without stubbing our toes. Prayer is a spiritual medium through which we talk one on one with our Maker and thereby presenting our issues to Him. Prayer is a platter upon which our heart desires are fulfilled by God. That is, the ones that are according to His will and purpose for our sustenance in life. I said according to His will because, I strongly believe that, no matter how much you love your four (4) years old son and he requests a double barrel gun from you, that, you will never ever answer that kind of his prayer unto you. So it is to us with God. If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Matthew 7: 11.
Again, before asking God for anything, certain conditions must be met by us. Especially, when fasting is involved in the prayer. Of course, these two popular words go well down together. "Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? Isaiah 58:6-7.
Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Is 58:8. The above mentioned blessings become ours after we had obeyed His own rules. Have you seen why, it pays to obey God's rules/instructions? It profits us far better to follow his rules than to do things our own way. After all, He is the 'I am that I am,' and His rules are not burdensome... 1 John 5:3.
Remain blessed.

CAN PRAYER AND FASTING REALLY DO IT?
However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting. (Matthew 17:21 NKJV)
Right from the ages, we have been hearing about these two words in the Bible "Prayer and Fasting", and some might even dislike those words. Yes, I did disliked them too, when I was still much younger. I remember how my parents would send my siblings and I away to the local Church, years back, to join other children in prayer and fasting exercise every Saturday, morning. Then, we did not know what prayer and fasting meant, therefore, as Saturdays approached, we would be grumbling. As in, these our parents, they would send us away again to Church, to go starving... Ouch! I am sure we grumbled that way because, we didn't have any understanding of prayer and fasting.
Jesus Christ speaking in the earlier quoted Scripture, Matthew 17:21, emphasises that some circumstances in life warrant that we pray and fast. I can now understand why Jesus' disciples couldn't cast out that demon from the young man. Matthew 17:14-16; And when they had come to the multitudes, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, "Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often falls into the water. So I brought him to your disciples, but they could not cure him." Probably, His disciples were ignorant of prayer and fasting, the same way I was in those days. They always slept whenever their Master went up to pray, Matthew 14:43; And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy. But we later saw how, when they realised themselves and received the Holy Ghost sent to them by Master, Jesus Christ, that diverse signs and wonders were wrought through their hands. To the extent that Peter's shadow was healing the sick, Acts 2:4; And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 5:12a; And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people.
That is to say, power can only be released to believers who can pray and fast fervently. A prayerful believer is a powerful believer and when you carry power (Holy Spirit), no demon can molest you.
Prayer: Father, give me the grace to pray and fast in and out of season, so that I can be empowered to defeat the devil in all my affairs anytime, anywhere and everyday, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Remain blessed!

LET GOD ALONE BE THE JUDGE
JUDGE NOT, AND YOU SHALL NOT BE JUDGED. CONDEMN
NOT, AND YOU SHALL NOT BE CONDEMNED. FORGIVE,
AND YOU WILL BE FORGIVEN... ( LUKE 6:37 *NKJV )
Dear Saints of God,
The above Scripture as written, is exactly the law of God to us all who are called by His name. God commands us to correct one another with love, rather than helping Him to doing His duty of having to judge the world. It is Him alone Who can judge us justly. No wonder, the Holy Bible admonishes us to, love our neighbours as ourselves, that there is no commandment greater than this, Mark 12:31. To be frank to ourselves, when you love someone, you don't expose the person's misgivings publicly, rather, you politely bring in the person and chastise him/her in love as reminded us in Ephesians 4:2-3; With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love. Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, told us in John 3:17 that, our Father in heaven, did not send Him to the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him should be saved. Do you now see the reason why we should not condemn one another? Also, 1 Corinthians 13:3-6 say, And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; More over, Therefore if the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed... John 8:36
Also, as followers of Jesus Christ, we must forgive one another simply, without any reservations, because, that is the only condition by which our heavenly Father can forgive our sins also. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, says in Matthew 6:14-15, ''For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. I believe these passages of the Scripture says it all, but Saints, to be honest with us, it is not easy to forgive someone who has profusely hurt us, but then, since this is God's instruction to us, we must wholeheartedly forgive them that hurt us badly.
Prayer of repentance:
Pray with your spirit, soul and body. Lord Jesus Christ, I now believe and receive You into my life. Please, forgive all my sins and wash me with Your precious blood and grant me the grace not to sin anymore, in Your precious name I have prayed, Amen.
Saint, if you prayed this prayer, honestly your sins are forgiven you, Praise God!!!
Jesus is Lord!!!
