Devotion:

It speaks to the importance of making wise decisions, valuing sound counsel, and living a life of integrity. We are all stewards in God’s kingdom, entrusted with various responsibilities. Whether it’s in our families, workplaces, or churches, God calls us to be faithful in our service. Our faithfulness, like that of the Levites or Paul, should be rooted in a deep understanding that we are serving Christ, and our ultimate reward comes from Him, not from human accolades.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant us the wisdom to lead lives of integrity and the strength to be faithful stewards of all You’ve entrusted to us. This passage reminds us of the importance of aligning our lives with God's wisdom and righteousness to experience His blessings and favor.

As we delve into Luke 23:26-56, we witness the culmination of Jesus' earthly ministry through His crucifixion, death, and burial. Despite facing unimaginable suffering and humiliation, Jesus remains steadfast in His mission to redeem humanity. He willingly bears the weight of our sins on the cross, demonstrating the depth of God's love and the extent of His sacrifice for our salvation.
