GOD REJOICES OVER US

ZEPHANIAH 3:17 (NKJV)

But Folks! God can only rejoice over a righteous man who loves and obeys His commandments at all times. Just like Father Abraham, who remained faithful and dedicated to loving and obeying God's commands even when it wasn't convenient for him. 

Also in John Chapter 15:9-11, Jesus says, “As the Father 

John 5:20; 17:26loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. John 14:15If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full."

John 13:34; 1 John

Love is the platform in this conversation for God to rejoice over one with singing. This is a simple logic, as an individual, you hardly will obey or listen to whom you don't have an affection for.. it is the same with spiritual things. That is the reason Jesus Christ stated in this verse that if you should love Him and keep His commands, His joy might remain in you and your joy might be full too. Note that, He would abide in you only when you'd kept His commandment and abode in His love. 

When one's part of the covenant has been fulfilled, then the individual's joy will be full as the Scripture says because he has done the will of God and God is now rejoicing over him. There's always that inner joy in you when you're doing the right thing. You're not ashamed nor pricked in the spirit, that inner joy in you is visibly made manifest.

Prayer: Oh Lord, help me to obey your commands, and abide in your love so that my joy will be full, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen! 

JESUS DOES NOT WANT US TO SUFFER

PSALMS 145:14 (NKJV)

 In today's Bible passage, we've read that God upholds all who fall and raises up all who are downed. No wonder He emphasized it again in Matthew Chapter 11:28-30, urging all who labor and are heavy laden to come to Him for rest.

What an Awesome God He is. His yoke is easy and His burden light. It means that even though you're heavily laden with the yoke of sin and sorrow, sicknesses and diseases, He will carry all for you, just to ensure you have the rest you desire.

But, did you observe from your reading that there's a to-do first appeal? which is for you to come to Him first! His word tells us in Revelation Chapter 3:20, "Behold, 

Song 5:2I stand at the door and knock. Luke 12:36, 37; John 10:3If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, (John 14:23)

I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."

It is you who will take that bold step to the feet of Jesus Christ and He will surely rescue you and give you the unfathomable rest. Once that first step is taken by you, it shows to Him that you have faith and confidence in Him to deliver you and surely He will.

Therefore, pray to Him and ask for grace to take that initial step of faith!

 

FEAR NOT!

PROVERBS 29:25 (KJV)

Folks, don't ever bother what man can do to you, instead be spiritually alert so as not to be defeated. Trouble will always come knocking at your doorstep whether you like it or not!

But strive in whichever way possible not to give in to fear. Fear torments, I hope you know! Put all your trust, hope, and confidence in the God that had reassured us, never to be afraid!

Always be mindful of God's opinion concerning any issue of concern to you because it's very dangerous to rely on a man or to be concerned with what man thinks about you.

Nevertheless, grace is always required, be not tired of asking God for it. That's the only way out!

 

LIGHT TO OUR PATH!

 

                 PSALMS 119:105 (KJV)

Folks, the word of God is Yea, and Amen! King David beheld this light and walked in it. From this verse, you can be sure he benefitted from the light of God's word which led to his expression above.

Therefore, let's not wait to follow this light as that's the only wise choice we can make right now, in this circumstance of severe hardship!

Remember, the Bible admonished us in Hebrews 6:12 to be followers of those who through faith triumphed.

But still, we need grace to follow through, so let us pray and ask God to release such grace to us!

HOW ABOUT TOMORROW SUNDAY!

 

John 3:16 (KJV)

Yes, Jesus Christ loves us so much and that is why He accepted to come die for the forgiveness of our sins!

So, lets meet Him in Church tomorrow to worship and praise Him for this kind gesture.

Because He lives, we can face tomorrow and live also, Amen!
