DAY 66 OF BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

Let's keep reading these Bible passages with all sense of amazement and gratitude to God for sending his Lamb (Jesus Christ) to come and take away the sin of the world.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, if all my body was to be all mouths, they would not be enough to thank you for all you've done for me on the Cross of Calvary, you're Awesome, take all the glory, Amen!

DAY 65 OF BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

How God changed the entire world by using the blood of Jesus to replace the blood of the Lamb without blemish previously used as a sacrifice of atonement. God, thank you for giving us a permanent sacrifice of atonement.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank you for your acceptance to becoming the permanent sacrifice of atonement to the whole world, I love you, Amen!

DAY 64 OF BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

The Bible passages for today have stressed the importance of the heart. No wonder the Book of Proverbs tells us to guard our hearts with all diligence for out of them are the issues of life.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me to keep my heart pure from now till your returning, Amen!

DAY 63 OF BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

Numerous rules and laws were enacted for the people of God in today's Book of Leviticus. King David went through some of these trials and temptations as he not ought to have but still enjoyed God's favour for God's mercies endured forever. We can as well see the power of God raising us far above trials and temptations greater than we are and giving us outstanding victory over them all.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank you that your coming to die for my sins has made me to be your adopted child, I am no more under the curse of the law, thank you Jesus, Amen!

DAY 62 OF BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

Like our yesterday's Bible Reading taught us, we have access to God's presence now and not through the high priest. God can speak to us directly now and with the strength, peace, power and authority that come with his presence, we can face any challenge and also speak the good news of Christ to others with full authority and power.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank you for the authority, power, peace and strength that I receive in your presence, Amen!

DAY 61 OF BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

Aaron used to be the high priest through whom the people reached God. He intercedes both for himself and the people of God but what a great privilege we have now in Christ that we can directly relate to God anyhow and anyway we choose to, whether in prayer, the word, praise and worship, etc.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I so much appreciate the truth that your coming on the earth has availed me the opportunity of relating with the Almighty God, to you alone be all the glory, Amen!

DAY 60 OF BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

In the Old Testament Bible, the blood of animals were shed for a guilt offering as a penalty for sin but on a temporary measure. Glory be to God that in Christ Jesus, the guilt offering has been fully paid once and for all, meaning that the forgiveness of sin is now only through Jesus.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, grant me the grace to always call out to you for help like the blind Bartimaeus did, Amen!
