DAY 183 - BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

Pride is very destructive. It can deny us of our blessings such as divine healing and transformation, as would have been the case of Naaman, had he not hidden to the advice and instruction of his maid and Prophet Elisha respectively. But when he finally removed the pride in him, he got his total healing and transformation that he desired all these long and then acknowledged that only the God of the Israelites is God in the whole universe.

Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, remove every trace of pride from me, Amen!

DAY 181 - BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

Psalms 78:40-55

In the entire world and life, the only consistent good news has been that of Jesus Christ; his death and resurrection, how he went about doing good, healing the sick as well as delivery of those oppressed of the devil. Fortunately for the believers in Christ, we have been commissioned and also empowered by the Holy Ghost to go forth to continue where our Lord Jesus Christ, the Disciples and Apostles stopped. Every true believer has been called to this kingdom task, it's not only meant for pastors but for everyone who calls/believes in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, empower me with the spirit of boldness to go forth in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to make impact in the lives of the lost souls, Amen!

DAY 178 - BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

Psalms 78:17-31

How great it would be for the believers to act out such a strong confidence in God as Elijah lived out here. He was so confident in his own God to answer him by fire, and that, God did for him. Even with all those trenches of water poured. At the end of it all, the people of Baal had to profess thus: The Lord, he is The God; The Lord, he is The God.

Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help me Lord with the grace I require to live out a higher dimension of the spirit of faith as exhibited by Elijah in our today's passage, Amen!

DAY 177 - BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

Psalms 78:9-16

Jesus is all we need to survive in life, whether on divine guidance, daily provisions, courage needed to conquer our enemy, the devil and so on, for without him we can do nothing.

Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, endue me with the Holy Ghost to tarry on with you when being pushed to the hardest side of life, Amen!

DAY 176 - BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

Proverbs 15:21-30

Prayer is the master key to supernatural open doors in every area of our lives. It can make a whole lot of difference in determining and realising one's glorious destiny in Christ. So,why not engage in it as a way of life, with a pure heart for God doesn't answer the prayer of a sinner.

Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, sanctify me now and always, so that I can make effective prayer that must be answered before your throne of grace, Amen!

DAY 175 - BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

Psalms 78:1-8

Passing on the gospel is very salient in the Kingdom race. Just as Paul handed over the baton to his son Timothy and Timothy in turn got mentored by his spiritual father Paul, we followers of Christ should do same, as that is actually the will of God for us, the believers.

Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help me to pass on the baton of the gospel of Christ to the generations after me, so that your word would keep spreading, Amen!
