DAY 47 - BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

God's love for us his children is so immense, to the extent that he doesn't want us to perish, not at all. For this singular reason, the children of Israel were instructed to sanctify themselves as they were about to come before God's presence. No wonder the Bible tells us that without holiness, no one can see God.

Much more, in our Bible passage for today in Psalms, we saw how it was explained, the coming of Jesus. He came to die for our sins so that we can be bold enough to stand before God after Jesus' blood must have cleansed us.

In Mark our passage for today, we see how Jesus was more than willing to accomplish the task on Calvary for which his Father sent him, for he loved all including the tax collectors and sinners.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me to place God first in my life and all I do, Amen!
