DAY 14 OF BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

 Genesis 29

From the above passages for today, we can see how Jacob reaped what he sowed. For the second time he cheated Esau his elder brother and then because seed time and harvest time shall not cease, he harvested the deceit he had been sowing from Laban. But I still believed that all this was son in order for him to fulfill God's purpose and calling for their lineage which began with Abraham. Yes, I say so because I'm sure that nothing takes God by surprise. So, can we learn something from these passages and allow God to work out his purpose in our lives? By walking patiently with him.

Let's keep trusting in him to lead us aright. He is an ever faithful God who is our refuge in times of trouble and he has not forsaken those that seek him, just keep declaring among the people his doings.

You know why we must follow Jesus with all sense of purpose and fulfillment? His father has committed all things unto him. So, when you continue to follow him, he will off load all your heavy laden and give you total rest, Amen.

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, help me to keep walking with you, never to faint, fall, fail nor falter in my walk with you, Amen.
