DAY 31 OF BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

Job 19

Job's friends yet continued to comfort him with vague and miserable words, while Job kept wondering why the wicked live on, keep growing old and continue to have immense audacity. I think Job thought in this line because he knew quite well that he was innocent of whatever offense he was accused of. But concerning Job's thought about this life, the Bible had said that whatsoever a man sows the same thing he shall reap, whether now or in time to come. So let us be careful the way we live our lives.

Similar to Job's chall was David, David was equally faced with enemies, death, destruction and distress, yet he kept worshipping and thanking God for the salvation of his soul.

And Jesus said to them, yea; have ye never read, out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? We should as believers make our mouths to be full of Thanksgiving and praise unto God, instead of being full of miserable words like Job's friends.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me to always acknowledge God as the doer of everything in my life and hence give him thanks without ceasing, Amen.
