Genesis 26 vs.24 – the attitude of not being afraid. The opposite of faith is
fear. And God has re-assured us of his ever abiding presence with us, read Psalms 56:11; 118:6. When we subject ourselves to fear, it
simply means we don’t trust in God’s mighty hand of deliverance upon our lives.
The only fear that is healthy and every believer should have is the fear of the
Lord, Proverbs 1:7. This kind of fear doesn’t mean you should be afraid of God,
rather it means to reference God, acknowledging his ever abiding presence in
your life.
Genesis 26 vs.18;
the attitude of re-opening your heart to
accept Christ Jesus as your Savior. The well you need to open at this present
age might be confessing again that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. May be
you used to be a die-hard believer in Christ Jesus before and have backslide
now out of frustration of life. Jesus Christ is able to re-admit you into his
well arm of salvation and deliverance. Will you re-open the well of your heart
of genuine repentance to Him again? Please do, because He’s ever ready to
accept you back Psalm 51:17. Then vs.34-The attitude of making a choice as human beings,
the choice we make, whether negative or positive has great consequences in our
lives, read Joshua 24:14-15.
Proverbs 1:20-33, - the attitude of not being afraid. Please read paragraph one (it’s the same
explanation).
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I believe in your word charge that repeatedly
asked me not to fear whatever man can do to me. Thank you, Jesus, for this
re-assuring word of yours in my life, Amen.
