DAY 29 - BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR

Job 11

As the story of Job's  suffering keeps on unfolding, his friends yet continued to attribute his suffering to the sins he committed. They condemned him wrongly, but despite all of these Job kept on trusting and hoping in God's love and salvation.

The same way David called on God to show the wonder of his great love, Job in his suffering was able to call God as well, not to hide his face from him, that was a better option instead of him looking somewhere else for help, like many believers do these days.

Jesus was equally mocked the same way Job's friends mocked him and both of Job them endured the mockery, though Jesus' suffering was superior to that of Job. Yet Jesus didn't speak against his Father who sent him.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me to endure trials and temptations that may come my way to the extent of standing firm for God at any point in time, Amen.
