At last Jacob (Israel) saw his long missing son, Joseph. Whom he thought had died. God perfected the purpose for which he allowed Joseph go through those hard times, that is, to preserve posterity in the earth and to save lives during the famine seasons. This saw the entire Israel come down to Goshen in Egypt to live, as the famine persisted then.
Jacob at last rejoiced and Israel became glad for the salvation of Israel later came to them and they all survived the famine. In our present day, Jesus Christ is become our salvation, to save us not only from famine but from all our captivity, Psalms 14:7, praise God!
Just the way Pharaoh gave Joseph the keys to the whole kingdom of Egypt, Jesus Christ has also given us the keys of the kingdom of heavens, that everything in the kingdom should work out for us according to our level of command of faith, Matthew 16:19, Alleluia!
