Job’s friends continued
to misinterpret the reason for his suffering but despite all these allegations
from his friends, he still trusted God in vs. 13 of Job 10. He kept on
acknowledging the favour of God upon his life.
Like Job, we
believers in Christ should do the same. In addition to loving God, Christ in
Matthew 19 vs. 19b commanded us to love your neighbor as yourself. If you obey
this commandment and keep on loving God and your neighbor, then whatever other
men find impossible to do, you will begin to do them cheaply because in 1 Corinthians
2 vs. 9, the Bible says that eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have it
entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that
love him.
When you read
Proverbs our today’s Bible passage, you will find out more benefits of loving
God and keeping his commandments.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help
me to keep loving you more and more, all the days of my life, Amen.
